Fender Precision Bass USA 2001 Natural Ash
Fender bass guitar. Precision Bass 62 Reissue Model is a great reissue of vintage 1962’s bass guitars. A wonderful well-thought bass combines a good contemporary quality and stability with old etalon sound of the well-known brand… The main question: do reissues differ from American standard instruments? Is it worth to pay more? I think yes. Formally, 1962 guitars have another electronics that sounds more authentically, and, as for me, the main thing is that it has lacquered surface. Reissues are covered with nitrocellulose lacquer. It has an influence on sound (the instrument sounds livelier and open) as well as on tactile feelings when using the instrument (nitro lacquer is more soft, sticky and pleasant when in hands). I’ve recently got to like Precision Basses, especially in studios and home recordings. It is just the right and simple bass without any unnecessary stuff. However, it performs a great work. As for exactly this bass, it is in a very good condition. Everything works, gets tuned and sounds perfectly well. You take it, play it and get pleased. Everything is tuned well and in a good balance. I am not going to tell you a lot about the sound as I have recorded many samples where you can hear everything. The bass is delivered with the original hardshell case and other things like belt, covers, cable, microfiber cloth, documents etc. Wonderful passive classic P-bass with the shadow of antiquity and classics. For those who look for P-bass with the top sound – I strongly recommend this bass guitar.
