Fender Jazz Bass Marcus Miller 4 Japan Natural Bass Guitar
For sale is Fender Jazz Bass Marcus Miller 4 made in Japan in a natural color (the classical range of colors for this model). I have a video-test of exactly this bass-guitar. The record is done in the passive mode, both pickups. Bass-guitar condition: The instrument is in a perfect technical and cosmetic condition; everything works and functions perfectly; everything turns, switches and gets tuned. In terms of cosmetic condition, everything is also in order. One thing is that the pickguard is a little bit rubbed, but it’s a typical thing for bass-guitars; they are made for this. As for the rest, the bass is fresh and relevant! Sound: Those musicians, who choose Fender Marcus Miller, know the sound of these instruments, I think. It is a special jazz bass, which is able to fill in the mix and to play solos brightly. Everything is well-thought here in order for the bassist to get maximum possibilities and universality. Active and passive modes allow to get the most diverse sound. Solid wood works well and has a great resonance. Classical sound for a very affordable sum of money. Tuning and convenience: Japanese manufacturers are responsible when creating musical instruments. I’ve been always shocked that they have such a high quality. First of all, this concerns their necks – they are fantastic, especially on Millers. It has a very comfortable profile and it’s easy to tune it as you wish. Strings can be set low, as much as it’s possible. As for the rest, this is a classical jazz bass where everything is well-thought concerning ergonomics and balance. Everything is usual and right here. Packaging: The bass comes with either a hardshell case, or a great soft case. The instrument has new D'Addario 45-105 strings (samples are recorded with them). General outcome and my subjective opinion: If you a big fan of the great musician or simply a fan of bright and right sound – this bass is for you. You won’t sound like Marcus does, but it will be much easier to get there now, if you work and learn hard. It is an amazing, universal and classical bass in a perfect condition. It is tuned, checked and is ready to make any musician happy. Moreover, you get a great incentive to play slap. Besides, this is the early Japanese Miller made in 1994, which is good and makes it more valuable. In addition, I made a comparative test of this Miller with my original 78s jazz bass. There is a difference because of the more experienced wood in the old Fender, but the character and tone are so close that it’s difficult to hear the difference. At the same time, a high-quality signature Japanese bass-guitar costs 2-3 times less! Make your own conclusions! This bass-guitar is available and you can buy it any time!
